Our Professional Standard

Read our Master Policy Handbook, or see a brief overview below, and an additional directory for crisis, emergency and support services.
We provide neuro-affirming consultancy backed by rigorous safety and ethical standards:
- Safe Data: Website and mail are hosted by Krystal Hosting (UK-based, encrypted, and B Corp certified). We are GDPR compliant and ICO registered.
- Vetted & Insured: We hold an Enhanced DBS (Update Service) for live verification, plus full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
- Expert Lead: Our Director is a Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
Our Safeguarding Commitment
The welfare of the child is paramount. While we recognise that “behaviours of concern” are often distress-based communication, this never supersedes our duty to keep children and families safe. We provide neuro-affirming care that balances deep empathy for the nervous system with rigorous safeguarding practice.
Our Core Duties:
- Listen: We prioritise the child’s preferred communication style.
- Protect: We maintain accurate records and stay alert to neurodivergent-specific vulnerabilities.
- In line with Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023/24), we maintain strict confidentiality. With your agreement, we may share session data with relevant parties as outlined in our consent forms; however, we are duty-bound to disclose information without consent if a child is at risk of harm.
We are not a medical or clinical body,
nor an immediate crisis intervention team.
